An experienced racer in a number of disciplines, Halliday will bring years of Champ Car, A1 Grand Prix, V8 Supercar, and Porsche Supercup experience to rallycross for the first time in 2017. Stepping into an AF Racing ride for the first time at Indianapolis in July, just days before his birthday, the Kiwi joins Scott Speed, Nelson Piquet Jr., Sebastian Saavedra, and others as international open-wheel drivers to test the Red Bull GRC waters.
