Staturday Head-to-Head: Dreyer & Reinbold Racing

Running two cars in each of its first two GRC Lites seasons, Dreyer & Reinbold Racing took the next step in 2017 by expanding to three. After scoring the most points of any entry last year in a shared ride with Tanner Whitten, Alex Keyes returned to the grid full-time, while DRR brought in Travis PeCoy and Christian Brooks to replace outgoing driver’s champion Cabot Bigham in its second and third cars.

While the team couldn’t secure back-to-back Lites titles, all three of its drivers impressed with consistent performances. Between them, they earned 18 of 36 possible podiums, the most of any team in the series, as Brooks tied a single-season record with nine by himself. With an additional 22 heat wins and over 160 laps led, it was a successful season for the Indianapolis based outfit—here’s how each driver contributed:
