Red Bull Global Rallycross is pleased to kick off its fifth annual Fan Favorite Driver of the Year contest, one of the series’ most prestigious end-of-season awards and the only one voted on by its fans. Starting on Monday, July 24 at 9AM ET, and ending on Saturday, October 14 alongside the season finale in Los Angeles, fans will be able to vote once per hour for their favorite drivers in both the Supercar and GRC Lites classes.

The Fan Favorite Driver of the Year Award was established in 2013, with two-time Supercar champion Tanner Foust taking the inaugural award. GRC Lites voting was added the next year, with Alejandro Fernandez becoming the first winner in the development class. Foust and Fernandez have won each of the Fan Favorite Driver votes since its inception in their respective classes.

Voting for the fifth annual Red Bull Global Rallycross Fan Favorite Driver of the Year Award is now open. Fans can vote for their favorite drivers at http://bit.ly/grcfanfave. The Supercar and GRC Lites winners will be unveiled on Sunday, October 15.
